My name is Dru Johnston, an improviser, comedian and writer based in New York City. I can currently be seen improvising with the UCB House Team Sandino and my three man sketch/improv team The New Deal, current champions of the Magnet Theatre’s Inferno. My sketches and plays have been seen around at various theatres in New York, I’ve served as a contributor to MediaElites.com and The Onion News Network and my extensive Year of the Blog project deemed the New York Post to call me “the Tolstoy of Short Attention Spans,” and Maxim.com to call me, “I can say with a high degree of certainty that this man has never seen or heard Morgan Freeman in his life.”
I grew up in the Seattle suburbs, studied theatre at Whitman College and the London Academy of Dramatic Arts, and have been seen acting in shows both in the Pacific North West and New York City.
Peanut M&Ms are the only M&Ms. Almond is okay too.
