The New Deal Comedy

The New Deal Comedy is a three-man sketch and improv group here in NYC in which I act, improvise and serve as head writer. We improvise plays at the Magnet Theatre, perform sketch shows around the city at places such as the People’s Improv Theatre and the Creek, and make web videos. Dru Johnston: Master Impressionist is a series of videos in which I do AMAZING impersonations of celebrities. But mostly it’s for the comments I get on youtube telling me my mouth is wide enough to swallow a dick or that I need to do something productive with my time like kill myself. My Morgan Freeman impression was also featured on Maxim.com, which led to a brief turf war.
